‘Dislocated shoulder while diving’ Lee Jae-hyun, medical examination shows no major problems “likely to rest for 2-3 days”

However, in the process of fielding, Lee injured his shoulder and continued to complain of great pain. Soon after, a substitution sign was sent to the bench. Lee retreated to the dugout with the trainer’s assistance. The Samsung bench moved Kim Dong-jin, who started at second base, to shortstop. Kim Ho-jae came in to play defense at third base. Kang Kang-ul, who started at third base, moved to second base.
A Samsung representative said, “Lee Jae-hyun was replaced because he was in a lot of pain due to a dislocated shoulder. His shoulder blade is back in place and he is currently icing it. He plans to undergo a hospital checkup in Daegu tomorrow.”

Lee appeared in 100 games this season, batting .243 with 82 hits, 10 home runs, 41 RBIs, a .300 on-base percentage and a .374 slugging percentage. He was the starting shortstop for Samsung and had played in every game this season. If he needs two to three days of rest, as Samsung officials said, his streak of playing in all games will be cut short.
