KT Wiz’s Yoo Byung-seong started the 14th game of the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League against the Samsung Lions at Samsung Lions Park in Daegu, South Korea on Thursday, but struggled, giving up three runs on four hits and five walks while striking out four.

Lee Jeong-seong pitched flawlessly until the third inning. He retired five consecutive batters, from Kim Hyun-jun in the first inning to Jose Pirela in the fifth, and gave up walks to Ryu Ji-hyuk and Lee Jae-hyun, but no runs. He also pitched a clean third inning, giving up only two hits and no walks. He continued to pitch a no-hitter. The bats also scored two runs in the second inning to lighten Yeo’s load.먹튀검증

However, in the fourth inning, things fell apart. A leadoff walk to Koo Ja-rook and a single to Kang Min-ho put runners on first and second with no outs. He struck out Pirela, but gave up a walk to Ryu Ji-hyuk to load the bases. Lee Jae-hyun gave up a single, but flied out to center field to end the inning with one out.

However, he gave up a walk to Kim Ji-chan to load the bases again, and eventually gave up a double to Ahn Joo-hyung, who came in for Kim Tae-hoon. Fortunately, he was able to tag out Kim Ji-chan on the ensuing play to prevent any further damage.

KT’s bench handed the ball to Joo Woo-kwon in place of Lee Jeong-seong before the start of the fifth inning.

Lee threw 77 pitches on the day. He threw 46 fastballs, 15 changeups, and 16 sliders. His fastball topped out at 149 mph. His fastball also reached 146 kilometers per hour, but he didn’t make it past the fourth inning.

Samsung scored three more runs in the fifth inning off Joo and Lee to take a 6-2 lead. If the game ends this way, Yeo will suffer his eighth loss of the season.
